High Plains Heritage Project

Voices from a changing landscape
Visit the website

The High Plains Heritage Project is a distinctly local effort driven by our interest in the changing social and cultural landscape of eastern Montana and western North Dakota.

We spent three weeks on road, meeting people, investing time in communities, and gathering stories from residents living in areas affected by the current oil boom.

We released content daily to our website, highplainsheritage.com, and a full-length documentary is currently in post-production.
